I've spent the last few days painting my master bath. I couldn't stand the look of it any more. My whole house has white or off-white walls and I decided that I need some color in my life, so I was brave and painted a "color" on the walls. And for those of you that know that grew up as an "army brat" and hate green because of that, will be surprised to know that I really took a chance and painted the walls green. They are a very pale green but still green and actually they look pretty good. I tried to get some pictures to post but my bathroom is quite small and I couldn't get any pictures to come out (they were all blurred). I did get this picture of the stained glass window. This was in the bathroom when we bought the house and I love it. It has 2 of my favorite things, stained glass and hummingbirds. There is also another smaller stained glass in the under-sink cabinet door.

Now that my bathroom is finished, I will be getting back to granny. She still needs one more coat of china paint and then a firing. Then she will be ready to start putting her together. I also need to get her dress made. My mom didn't get the dress pattern sent yet, so I searched the internet and finally found a phone number to the man who sculpted granny and sells the molds. I gave him a call and asked if he sells the patterns. As it turns out, he does. I bought one and it should be on its way here. I'm SO excited, I have big plans this weekend.

Hi Tammy! It's nice getting to know my cousin better. I have the itch to paint my bathroom. That is going to be my January project. We have also taken a chance adding color to our lives. We painted our foyer, hallway and kitchen a real warm haystack color (sounds more appealing than gold lol)anyway we love it! I see you are a Twilight fan. Chuck's wife, Peggy, is too. I'm going to have to check this out. I never heard about it until lately.
Goodluck with Granny. She is looking more alive all the time.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! Angie
