I got home from Tennessee yesterday. I had a fun trip. It is always fun to see family. The Watts reunion was held while I was there and it was a lot of fun. My grandfather was one of 12 children (well, actually there were 16 - 4 died during infancy) and there are only 5 of his sisters still with us. Four of the sisters were at the reunion - the 5th sister (Jessie Mae) has alzheimers and is in a nursing home. It was great to see the 4 of them. The oldest is my Aunt Amelia and she is 93 years old. She is so fun and she is very knowledgable about the family history and answered some of my genealogy questions. Aunt Evelyn is 80 years old and is also very knowledgable. Both of them live in Tennessee in the little town that I was visiting. Aunt Wanda is 78 years old and acts like she about 25. She is so-o-o full of energy. She came to the reunion from northern Georgia. Aunt Lillian is the baby of the family and is 76 years old. She is great and lives in Virginia. She is the mother of one of my favorite cousins, Robert who is only a month older than me. Sad, he didn't come to the reunion. It was great to spend some time with all that did get to come. There were also about 70-80 other people there. Pictures to follow.
Glad to be home, though! I am anxious to finish my house and get it put back together.
